Texas-based Energy Transfer Equity (ETE) has entered into an agreement to acquire Louisiana-based Trunkline LNG Company, an operator of liquefied natural gas (LNG) re-gasification facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana, from midstream operator Energy Transfer Partners (ETP) in exchange for the redemption of 18.71 million ETP units held by ETE.
